Front door signs & wreaths

A front door takes more weather than any wall inside the house: sun, rain, cold and the thump of the door closing a few dozen times a day. Thin wood and printed signs fade or warp. These pieces are laser-cut from solid steel and powder coated, which makes them a better match for a porch or entryway.

For a door or an outside wall, choose the mounting holes option when you order. The holes are cut with the design, so the piece can be screwed flat and held firmly instead of swinging on a hook. Inside a covered porch or an entry hall, the floating sawtooth hanger works too and leaves a thin shadow line behind the sign.

Size matters more at the door than anywhere else. A typical front door is about 36 inches wide, and a wreath or sign usually looks right at 16 to 24 inches across — big enough to read from the path, small enough to leave the door’s panels visible. Most of our designs come in several sizes, so you can match yours.

Black is the safest choice on a white, grey or wood door. On a black or navy door, gold, silver or white stands out better.
